Ho Chi Minh city, still called Saigon by many locals, is a commercial, financial, cultural and tourist center in Vietnam. This bustling metropolis is crowded with motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping areas and sidewalk cafes.
AM: Pick up. City orientation tour to visit:

     * Viet Nam War Museum /or/ History Museum (closed on Monday)

     * Unification Palace - built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, designed by Vietnamese architect Ngô Viết Thụ, was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam until the unification in1975.

     * The Notre Dame Cathedral, a famous age-long cathedral in Southern Vietnam, a magnificient building located at the Paris square, attracting not only Catholics but also most tourists for its neo-Romanesque style architecture and a sacred atmosphere.

     *Ho Chi Minh city central Post Office, one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, built around 1886 - 1891, based on the design of Gustave Eiffel – a famous French architect. It has become a significant symbol of the city, just like its opposite neighbor Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral. It has long been the busiest post office of the country.

Bus drive to the restaurant for lunch.


PM: Departure for district 5, visit China Town with its Thien Hau temple, dedicated to Thiên Hậu, the Lady of the Sea and Binh Tay market, the biggest wholesale market in Ho Chi Minh city.
