     Laos is Southeast Asia’s most pristine environment! Intact cultures and quite possibly the most chilled-out people on earth mean Laos destination is fast earning cult status among travelers. It is developing quickly but still has much of the tradition that has sadly disappeared elsewhere in the region. Village life is refreshingly simple and even in Vientiane it’s hard to believe this sort of languid riverfront life still existing in a national capital. Then, of course, there is the historic royal city of Luang Prabang, where watching hundreds of saffron-robed monks move silently among centuries-old monasteries is a scene you’ll experience anywhere in Asia. Come and take a glance.

Day 1: Arrival – Luang Prabang (D)
On arrival at the airport, welcome and transfer to hotel. Free time for self- explore  Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2: Luang Prabang – Living Land Farm – Half Day city tour (B,L,D)
AM: head out to Living Land Farm, a working community farm aprroximately 5kms outside the town. There you will learn all about the rice growing process and have an opportunity to participate in seasonal farm activities such as identifying viable rice seeds, ploughing with a buffalo, hand planting, weeding and harvesting rice and threshing rice seed.
PM: bicycles to see some of the highlights of Luang Prabang including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang. Continue to visit the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of WatVisoun and the shrine of WatAham.

Late PM: climbing up Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River.  Descending the mountain you will find yourself in the midst of the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find a unique selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts locally made by both ethnic Lao and hill tribe people living in the surrounded areas of Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: Luang Prabang – Vientiane (B,L,D)
AM: Free time to relax at the hotel, get a massage or spa treatment, go shopping or grab a bicycle and go exploring before your afternoon flight to Vientiane.
PM: Arrival and transfer to hotel for check in. Half day city tour: WatSisaket, with it’s thousands of miniature Buddha statues, the former royal temple of WatPrakeo, which housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image, That Luang Stupa, stopping along the way to take some photos of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.

End the day on the waterfront with its many restaurants, bars and night market to explore. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 4: Vientiane (B,L,D)
AM: continue sightseeing tour of Vientiane by bicycle: WatOng Teu, WatInpeng and WatHaisok, the main shopping district and Vientiane’s Central Market, Talad Sao.

PM: Back to hotel, free time to relax or take in some more sights of Vientiane and enjoy the sunset over a few drinks on the riverfront. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 5: Vientiane - Departure (B)
Free time before transfer to the airport for departure.
