From My Tho city, just 45 minutes by boat on Tien River, visitors can reach a wide isle of 1,100 hectares called Thoi Son. There, visitors can experience rowing boat through the water coconut plants along the arroyos or stroll under the orchard to see daily lives of southern residents and taste ripe fruits as well as special dishes in the Mekong delta. 

8.00 am. Pick up and coachtrip to My Tho. Estimated arrival at My Tho pier at 10.00 am. Embarkment upon arrival.
Boat trip to reach Thoi Son island, located on Tien river. Enjoy Don Ca Tai Tu, a kind of folk music which is very popular in the Mekong Delta, recently recognized as UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage in February 2014, and tasting various tropical fruits during the performance. Visit a family workshop producing coconut candies, stroll under the trees of sapodillas orchard, visit a bee raising family as well as tasting a cup of tea with honey and kumquat. 
Enjoy a short  rowing boat trip through arroyos.
Lunch with elephant-ear fish.
Visit Vinh Trang pagoda, built in the beginning of the 19th century, the most ancient in the Mekong delta. Coachtrip back to HCM city.
Estimated arrival at 5.30/6.00 pm.
