From My Tho city, just 45 minutes by boat on Tien River, visitors can reach a wide isle of 1,100 hectares called Thoi Son. There, visitors can experience rowing boat through the water coconut plants along the arroyos or stroll under the orchard to see daily lives of southern residents and taste ripe fruits as well as special dishes in the Mekong delta. 

Day 1:  HO CHI MINH CITY - MY THO  - CAN THO (L, D)
 
07:30 am. Pick up and coachtrip to My Tho. Estimated arrival at My Tho pier at 10.00 am. Embarkment upon arrival.
 
Boat trip to visit Thoi Son island, a typical aspect in the Mekong delta. Enjoy Don Ca Tai Tu, a kind of folk music  which is very popular in the Mekong Delta, recently recognized as UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage in February 2014.
 
 
 
 
Taste various tropical fruits on the island.
 
Visits daily stuffs made from coconut, coconut candies making family workshop.
 
Enjoy a short sampan trip through arroyos.
 
Lunch with elephant-ear fish.
 
PM: Disembarkment. Coach trip back to Can Tho via the new Can Tho cable-stayed bridge.
 
Can Tho is noted for its floating market, rice-paper-making village, orchards and picturesque rural canals. It is the best place to experience the daily life of inhabitants in the Mekong delta. All of economic, culture activities are closely related to river and canals, equivalent  to the 'street'. Can Tho has simple, poetic beauty with well-off villages under shade of coconut trees. It is wonderful to take a boat trip along the riverbanks on fine weather days.

Day 2: CAN THO – HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L)
 
06.00 – 06.30: Early breakfast.
 
07.00 AM: Embarkment to visit Cai Rang floating market at the meeting point of several waterways where the gardeners and farmers sell their agricultural products from their boat, on which are displayed products on a bamboo pole.
 
 
 
09.00 AM: Return to Ninh Kieu warf, disembarkment.
 
10.00: check out.
 
Transfer to Binh Thuy house for visit. The house belongs to Duong Family, built since 1870 and now lives Mr Duong Minh Hien, a  Duong’s descendant.  The house is also known as Binh Thuy orchid house as there is an orchid garden. This is the most ancient house in the Mekong delta, having a western architecture with big pillars outside but still keeps many traditional characteristics with carved and engraved wooden boards inside the house.
 
Binh Thuy Communal House is also the place where is held the festival dedicated to the spirit of the land and Dinh Cong Trang, a patriot against French colonists. The main purpose of this festival is to pray for a peaceful existence.
 
 
 
Bus drive back to Ho Chi Minh city.
 
Drop off at your hotel.
